WINGS, from the group BTS, was picked out as the most sold album of 2016.

On the "2016 Total Album Sales Chart" that Gaon Chart was released on the 13th, BTS's second full-length album WINGS sold a total of 751 301 albums and took 1st place by a landslide. Combining their total album sales and their Gaon chart ranking from last year, they had the highest numbers.

Additionally, with last year's special album that was released in May, HYYH: Young Forever, which

took 4th place with a total of 368 369 albums, they have been shown a lot of strength in the charts.

Winning Artist of the Year at 2016 MAMA last year, and Album of the Year at the 2016 Melon Music Awards, they've been sweeping up daesangs and have become, in reality as well as in name, the currently trending idols.

They have also been the only ones among Korean artists to appear on the US Billboard 2016 charts in 4 categories, once again confirming their worldwide popularity and influence.

On the 18th and 19th of next month, they will be starting their world tour with their 'WINGS Tour Seoul Concert' at the Gocheok Skydome in Guro District.
